Underrated 90s Action Figure Lines You Forgot About

Everyone remembers TMNT and Power Rangers, but the ’90s produced a wave of wild action figure lines that deserve a comeback.

  • Skeleton Warriors (1994–95)
Gothic, over-the-top villains that looked like heavy metal album covers. Short-lived, but highly collectible.
  • Street Sharks (1994–97)
“Jawsome” muscle-bound sharks with radical 90s attitude. Loose figs remain affordable, but sealed ones bite your wallet.
  • Biker Mice from Mars (1993–96)
A cartoon/toy hybrid that rivaled TMNT with motorcycles and cheesy villains.
  • Toxic Crusaders (1991–93)
Based on the R-rated Toxic Avenger, this eco-friendly cartoon line had wild neon sculpts.
  • Extreme Dinosaurs (1997–98)
TMNT-style dinosaurs with weapons. Short run, but a cult favorite.

Collector Note: These lines don’t always hit the same value highs as Transformers or G.I. Joe — but their rarity and nostalgia factor make them excellent shelf pieces.
